About the Author
Dan Cuffaro is a professor of industrial design and the chair of industrial design at The Cleveland Institute of Art. Prior to that, he worked as design director for a design firm where his clients included Compaq, Polaroid, Symbol Technologies, Tupperware, Lego, Black & Decker, DeWalt, and Sunbeam.
Isaac Zaksenberg is an Adjunct Professor in the Robert Busch School of Design at Kean University in Union, NJ.

A must-have!

This is the book I've been waiting for. Great reference material on topics ranging from ergonomics to material selection and even electronics. Simple, straightforward explanations and information. Bonus points for including a glossary. I recommend it to all design students and design professionals. Design professors: Make this a required text!!

This SMALL book is like a summary that covers for everything we learn,as an industrial design student. Its like all of my class notes compressed into this one simple small book! Its like a dream!
from business aspects, manufacturing process and material selection, design process, drafting, computer graphic guide, 3D modelling, ergonomics (completely illustrated as well), and of course mechanical, electronics, many more!
its a reference book that I just have to carry everywhere
6 x 8.5 inch size, small enough to bring everywhere I go, EASY READ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

From manufacturing techniques to materials. I was very pleased with the purchase of this book and will definitely have this book handy throughout my studies as an ID student!
